After almost 40 years in healthcare, Debby changed careers to become a full-time farmer. In 2010, she and husband Pete purchased and then lovingly restored their 14 1/2 acres farm in Prosperity, SC. Green Pastures Farm is home to dairy goats, chickens, a mini donkey,Labrador retriever, and Smokey the cat, as well fruit, vegetable, and flower gardens. Pete and Debby are interested in learning and sharing skills that were important to our ancestors such as making cheese, wine, and beer; spinning and weaving. A Master Gardener since 2002, Debby has combined two of her passions by planting and harvesting plants to naturally dye her fibers and fabrics.
